As the title says, this is our ritual for Lá Fhéile Bhríd. Using the lunar reckoning this would have been January 21st, we held our ritual and feast on January 25th. We also made butter and Brigit’s Crosses this year. The butter will be used in our rituals for the coming year.

Statement of Purpose
Druid 2: It is the time when our foremothers would take stock of the provisions and clean the house from top tobottom in preparation for the arrival of Brigit and spring. The time when our forefathers would go out with shovels and break up the sod to symbolize the coming planting season. The people would pray for rain to soften the earth to receive seeds and promote growth and the
